THE VILLA

The construction of the villa Cicogna dates back to the 1970s and was designed by one of the most important architects in Italy, Pica Ciamara, using carefully treated local materials. It has appeared in several publications and specialized magazines and even today the main University in Naples, Federico II teaches this villa in the architectural course.

The main house of Villa Cicogna is three-storeys high. On the ground floor there is a large living-room with large glass windows facing the Isle of Capri and the garden with the swimming-pool. In the living-room you will find a sofa with armchairs, where you can watch satellite TV, the adjoining dining room has seating for 6-12 people and several  doors will lead you to the terrace, the garden and the swimming-pool.

From the dining/living-room you can reach a spacious fully-equipped kitchen, with a five-burner stove, an oven, a dishwasher, and a fridge with a freezer. In addition, there is a laundry-room available. A guest bathroom is located on this floor.

From the living room and the kitchen you have access to the large terrace, where you can enjoy the unparalleled views of Capri and the whole bay of Naples with the nearby island of Ischia and Procida, whilst having your well deserved limoncello.

One level lower, you will find five bedrooms; three rooms with a double bed or two single bed configuration and two small bedrooms with a single bed.  Two bedrooms have direct access to the garden, while the other bedrooms have a view of the garden or the sea.

On the third floor you will find a room with two single beds that opens to the garden and a beautiful view of the sea. A small living-room is located on this level and a small gym with a multi-functional home-training unit, this floor also has another small double bedroom. From this level you can also directly reach the swimming-pool and the garden.

The basement of the villa was reconstructed in 2018 by the current owner into a separate apartment with a living room, a kitchen, and a double bedroom with a large bathroom.
